“Prior to COVID, I really loved doing in person group yoga classes and running,” writes Sam. “After, I was unfocused and having trouble staying motivated.”

Sam and Brad only had a TRX+bands, but I knew this was plenty to help them crush their goals. I wrote them their first program last summer and we’ve been working together ever since. They train on their own and we do a weekly virtual training session.

“I used to dread working out at home,” says Brad. “Now I am as strong as I ever was when I had access to a full gym. Pretty amazing considering we were only using bodyweight and very minimal equipment. I honestly didn’t think it was possible to see results this good without a full gym.”

Sam was initially more skeptical about training. “I don’t really love traditional strength training or weight lifting. I tend to prefer yoga or running,” she admits.

I am now in the best shape I have been in since I was a high school athlete. I feel stronger during workouts and during daily life. I completed my first 10k and am training for a half marathon, which I never would have thought possible before.”

Sam and Brad weren’t new to exercise, but they struggled to create fun and effective workouts on their own.

My awesome client Tim was already fit, strong, and athletic when we started working together years ago. However, he was bored with his workouts and didn’t know how to get unstuck.

“Before I started training with Caroline I was in decent physical shape. I’ve always enjoyed going to the gym and was active through sports, so the gym was always a sanctuary for me.

Even though I truly enjoy the gym, when Caroline came to me I was bored of it. What’s nice about training with Caroline is her knowledge base. As a former athlete I have a lot of issues (shoulders, back, knees, etc) and if I’m in pain or something is bothering me she always has substitute exercises or stretches handy that help me out with that muscle.

To someone on the fence: As a former athlete you tend (or at least I did) to think that you know it all… Well, when you realize that you don’t and your gains halt and you’re bored going through the motions at the gym and you realize you need a spark, this is a great way to get that passion back for the gym.
