Why Should You Listen to Me?

These days, my ability to quickly prepare tasty, healthy meals is one of my greatest fitness superpowers. But this wasn’t always the case. For many years, I was overweight and out of shape. I had no idea how to cook anything beyond frozen pizza and easy mac.

It took a major health scare to inspire me to make changes to my lifestyle. I realized I needed to learn how to cook if I wanted to take control of my eating. This was not an easy process, and I felt completely out of my element. I can’t even tell you how many times I burned, undercooked, over seasoned, or otherwise ruined a perfectly good meal. I often threw out perfectly good produce because I didn’t understand how to use up what I bought.

Because I once struggled so much in the kitchen, I can relate to those of you struggling now. I know how hard it is to come up with ideas for healthy meals that actually taste good. And I sympathize with the need to save time. I rarely have more than 2.5 hours between when I get home from work and when I go to bed. In that time, I manage to make dinner for two and make my two of my own meals for the next day. Without meal templates, this would not be possible.

Additionally, I have more than six years of in-the-trenches coaching experience. I’ve spent thousands of hours working with hundreds of clients.
